Résumé En

This study concerns 626 individuals captured throughout France. The different informations are assembled in the diagram, the departments are gathered in large geographical area according to Doctor Leclercq's diagram. This has allowed us to obtain a certain number of conclusions. The population is very diversified classes with different optimum live together among which we find a distinct predominance of euroasiatic elements (17 species and 1 variety present in 114 captures). The mediterranean ones are weakly represented (19 captures only). The first capture of Chrysops sepulchralis maurus Siebke took place in France in the Pyrénées-Orientales on August 2nd, 1967.
