Contribution à l'étude des Blattaria de la Faune malgache. III. Genre Heminauphoeta Saussure et description de trois espèces nouvelles de Brachynauphoeta gen. nov

Brachynauphoeta, a new genus in the Oxyhaloidae familly (sensu Princis) was established for the brachypterous species which had been previously included in Heminauphoeta Saussure. Heminauphoeta includes two species (H. sakalava and H. picea). Brachynauphoeta includes the older species (hova, brunneriana and mayottensis ) in addition with three herewith described new ones : jeannineae, michelleae and foulpointeensis. Lectotypes were selected for H. sakalava and B. hova (Saussure et Zehntner). The habitus of the different species was figured in the two genera so as the wing pattern of Brachynauphoeta, and the sub-genital plates, when known. The male genitalia were figured in five species in both genera. The shape and morphology of the R2 sclerite could have a phylogenetical interest whereas the tentatively introduction of the ratio between the lenght of L2vm and R2 shown an unexpected difference between the two genera. This is the first report in the Blattaria of the possible interest of the male genitalia at the generic rank.

Brachynauphoeta, un nouveau genre appartenant à la famille des Oxyhaloidae (sensu Princis) est établi pour les espèces brachyptères précédemment incluses dans le genre Heminauphoeta Saussure. Heminauphoeta renferme deux espèces (H. sakalava et H. picea), Brachynauphoeta les espèces précédemment décrites (hova, brunneriana et mayottensis) auxquelles il faut rajouter trois espèces nouvelles décrites ici (jeannineae, michelleae et foulpointeensis) . Des lectotypes ont été désignés pour H. sakalava et B. hova (Saussure et Zehntner). L'habitus des espèces des deux genres est figuré, ainsi que les plaques sous-génitales, lorsque les mâles sont connus. Les genitalia mâles ont été dessinées pour cinq espèces. La forme et la morphologie du sclérite R2 pourraient avoir un intérêt phylogénétique alors que l'essai d'introduction du rapport des longueurs de L2vm et R2 montre une différence non soupçonnée entre les deux genres. Ceci représente, chez les Blattaria, la première citation relative à l'intérêt possible des genitalia mâles au niveau générique.
