Between Noise and Silence: Yves Bonnefoy Kappelmeister? ' (Acroamatic Sketches) Bonnefoy's work presents many "acousmates", or sounds for which no objective cause can be found, of different order: philosophical echoes, but also inchoate sounds from the body. Attention to the latter allows a reader's ear to detect a poet in the various tasks of the Kappelmeister, working to disengage words from excess networks of meaning.
