In order to set up a plant, a number of factors have to be taken into account and selection ranges vary from one site to another. A Geographical Information System (GIS) enables the implementation of this method based on multiple criteria in the planning of industrial location.

La localisation d’une entreprise industrielle nécessite la prise en compte d’un certain nombre de facteurs auxquels sont associées des fourchettes de sélection qui diffèrent suivant chaque demande de recherche de site. Un Système d’Information Géographique (SIG) permet l’application de cette méthode multicritères opérationnelle en aménagement industriel.

Para implantar una empresa industrial hay que tomar en cuenta varios factores a los cuales se asocian bandas de selección distintas según los encargos de prospección de sitio. Un Sistema de Información Geográfica (SIG) permite aplicar a la planificación industrial este método operacional multicriterios.
