Proportional surface symbols is the only way to map absolute values for a given set of data. This elementary rule of cartography is here reminded with a simple operational example : the spatial distribution of the housings provided with solar energy heating in Belgium.

Seule la carte en proportions révèle des répartitions de masses. Cette règle élémentaire de cartographie est rappelée ici par un exemple opérationnel : la répartition spatiale des logements chauffés à l’énergie solaire en Belgique.

Solo el mapa a escala revela la distribución de masas. Esa regla elemental de cartografía se recuerda aquí con un ejemplo operativo : la repartición espacial de las viviendas caldeadas con energía solar en Bélgica.
