Résumé
As Science of space, Geography must bring an operational answer to the problems which are set by the territorial planning and the territory development. Among teams teaching several subjects, Geography not only brings a very useful information but also finds the conditions of an actual unification of these steps which are too often parcelled out into different specialities. As a matter of fact, this article shows how the recourse to geomorphologic methods brings unity and efficiency to the Geography of Development. The area which is investigated within the framework of preliminary studies in order to settle a «SDAU», is a country area in the inner Provence, centred on the massif of a La Ste Baume».
