More than Morocco or Tunisia, Algeria underwent massive agrarian colonisation. This took control of almost half its farm land and produced heavy agrarian dualism. How has this inheritance been dealt with through the big political movements of the Autogestion period and the agrarian Revolution ? Agriculture is now -and it began some years ages - being reorganized. How is this operation trying to induce dynamic and productivity in the poorly going Algerian agriculture ? This paper aims at presenting these questions as they appear in 1984.

Plus que le Maroc et la Tunisie, l'Algérie a connu une colonisation agraire massive, qui a pris en main près de la moitié de son patrimoine, et créé un très fort dualisme agraire. Comment ce patrimoine a-t-il été recueilli et géré à travers les grands «moments» politiques de l'Autogestion et de la Révolution Agraire ? Comment l'opération plus technique de «restructuration agraire», en cours depuis quelques années, essaie d'insuffler à l'agriculture algérienne malade une dynamique productivité ? L'objectif de ce papier est de faire le point sur ces questions.
