Время — самая насущная тема русской литературы начала двадцатого века. Из всех писателей, одержимых идеей времени, будетлянин Велимир Хлебников предложил наиболее самобытное решение этой метафизической загадки. В своём знаменитом произведении Доски судьбы Хлебников утверждал, что окончательно постиг таинственные законы времени. Поэт заставил свое словесное творчество обозначать и изображать время, используя все силы и средства художественного слова. Стихотворение-миниатюра Времыши-камыши действенно доказывает принципы хлебниковской поэтики, вытекающие из «самовитости» его дискурса : необыкновенная неология Хлебникова, являясь одновременно мотивацией текста, производит особого рода репрезентацию времени, намного превосходящую многословные рассуждения традиционной философии.

Time is one of the great themes of Russian literature at the beginning at the 20th century. Of all writers who were obsessed by the idea of time, the «future land man» Velimir Hlebnikov was to propose the most original solution to that great metaphysical riddle. Believing that in his famous Tables of Fate, he had finally grasped the mysterious laws of time, the poet “ assigned” to verbal art, the task of signifying and expressing time by using the meaning potential of words to the utmost. The miniature poem Vremysi-kamysi is a manifestation of the principles of the poetics that are deduced from his discourse‘ s ipseity. Hlebnikov’s neology, remotivating the words in the text, creates a representation of time which considerably surpasses the profuse talk of traditional philosophy.

Le temps est la grande affaire de la littérature russe au début du XXe siècle. De tous les écrivains qui ont été obsédés par l''idée de temps, le «futurien» Velimir Xlebnikov est sans doute celui qui a proposé la solution la plus originale à cette grande énigme métaphysique. Pensant avoir définitivement percé à jour les mystérieuses lois du temps dans ses fameuses Tables du destin, le poète assignait à l''art verbal la tâche de signifier et figurer le temps en mobilisant toutes les ressources de la parole artistique. Le poème miniature Vremyši-kamyši démontre en acte les principes de cette poétique déduite de l''ipséité du discours : la prodigieuse néologie khlebnikovienne, en même temps qu''elle motive le texte, produit une singulière représentation du temps, bien au-delà des verbigérations de la philosophie traditionnelle.
