THE ANALYSIS OF A CHURCH DOCUMENT. «WE REMEMBER. THOUGHTS ON THE " SHOAH " » This article attemps to analyze the official position of the Vatican on the « Shoah ». The claim of a lack of responsability on the past of the Church, in the genesis of judeophobia, preceeds the reaffirmation of traditional church dogma. The reinterpretation of the « moral work of memory » takes place simoultaneously.

ANALYSE D'UN DOCUMENT D'ÉGLISE: «NOUS NOUS SOUVENONS. REFLEXION SUR LA SHOAH» L'article propose une analyse de la position officielle du Vatican sur la Shoah. La déresponsabilisation de l'Église, dans la genèse de la judéophobie, précède la réaffirmation de la dogmatique traditionnelle. La réinterprétation du « devoir de mémoire » s'y fait jour.
