Résumé
The possibilities offered by the multimedia technology for interfaces designing in Geographic Information System and for the improving of Man-Computer interaction are analyzed in this article. To such an end, we present hereby two applications developed by the Universitt de les Illes Baleas in this field during last year. Flight of fancy : The Balearic' (FoF) and TarcBit' (PB), both produced in CD-ROM. FoF is the result of a project financed by the E.U. IMPACT2 Program in the multimedia and GIS fields. It is a prototype aimed towards the evaluation of enviromental impact in Mallorca at different levels. "PB" is an application focused to provide the planning teams which took part in the Developing Projects Contest with territorial information about the location of the future technologic Park of the Balearic Islands.
