Summary. — Twenty-five seals discovered in the old Byzantine fortress of Dobřil Dol, to the east of Plovdiv, provide an insight into the 11th/ 12th-century Byzantine-Bulgarian society. Particular attention is given to a Greek seal of John, Basileus of the Bulgars.
