In two tables, with some drawings of the caracteristic tools, the development of the Lebanese Upper- and Epipalaeolithic is placed in its climatic and geomorphological frame. The long sequence of Ksar Akil, from the not so well known Ewing's excavations, shows that there is in Lebanon a rather distinct evolution.

On présente ici, sous forme de tableaux acompagnés de dessins de l'outillage le plus caractéristique, l'ensemble du Paléolithique supérieur et de l'Epipaléolithique libanais. La longue séquence de Ksar Akil, fournie par les fouilles mal connues de Ewing, permet de montrer une évolution, qui semble propre au Liban.
