This is a study of copper and tin sources in Egypt and the neighboring regions and also of the trade in copper and tin into Egypt. A consideration of the ancient metal-working techniques is based upon the analysis of sixteen objects of copper alloy from Egypt: all conserved at the university museum in Philadelphia.

Étude des gisements cuprifères et stannifères d'Egypte et des régions avoisinantes ainsi que du commerce du cuivre et de l'étain en direction de l'Egypte. Examen des différentes techniques en usage fondé sur l'analyse métallographique de seize objets égyptiens en métal cuivreux conservés à l'University Museum, à Philadelphie.
