- Excavations at a series of sites in eastern Jordan have provided data on changes and developments through the 7th and 6th millennia ВС. The paper provides a short summary of each site, with a general discussion of the patterns which are with regard to the Neolithic periods in the semi-arid zones of the Near East.

- Les résultats des fouilles d'un certain nombre de sites de l'Est de la Jordanie montrent les changements et développements survenus aux 7e et 6e millénaires B.C. Cet article propose un bref exposé de chaque site, suivi d'une discussion sur les différents modèles que révèle l'étude de ces périodes néolithiques de la zone semi-aride du Proche-Orient.
