La modernité de « Sein und Zeit ». Réflexions au lendemain d'un cinquantenaire manqué

This study, which jointly raises the question of modernity as such and of the untimely actuality of Sein und Zeit « in particular », endeavours to suggest that the real situation of Heidegger's works in regard to the articulation of finished metaphysics and of growing modernity could not be brought to light by a reading of a thematic nature, attentive simply to the existential tone of Heidegger's analyses, but only by a structural approach : the latter does not inquire about the literary « plan » of the book, but about the mode of progression of the phenomenological enterprise which itself makes the « Dasein » appear as an open structure, that is to say as a phenomenon in the strict sense. By discovering thus in Sein und Zeit the foundation of an «economical phenomenology », the principle of which would be the experience of freedom as a structure of the phenomenality itself, it is hoped in these pages to contribute towards exorcising the classical grumble of anthropologism and, by making the concept of « Dasein » decidedly problematical, to open at the same time and afresh the question of the Kehre and of Heidegger's self-interpretation.

Cette étude, qui s'interroge conjointement sur la question de la modernité comme telle et sur l'intempestive actualité de Sein und Zeit «en particulier », s'efforce de suggérer que la situation réelle de l'œuvre de Heidegger à l'articulation de la métaphysique achevée et de la modernité naissante ne saurait être mise en lumière par une lecture de type thématique, simplement attentive à la teneur existentielle des analyses heideggériennes, mais uniquement par une approche structurale : celle-ci ne s'enquiert pas du « plan » littéraire du livre, mais du mode de progression de la démarche phénoménologique qui fait elle-même apparaître le « Dasein » comme une structure ouverte, c'est-à-dire comme un phénomène au sens strict. En découvrant ainsi dans Sein und Zeit la fondation d'une « phénoménologie économique » dont le principe serait l'expérience de la liberté comme structure de la phénoménalité elle- même, ces pages espèrent contribuer à exorciser le grief classique d'anthropologisme et, en rendant le concept de « Dasein » décidément problématique, ouvrir du même coup et à nouveaux frais la question de la Kehre et de l'auto-interprétation heideggériennes.
