Three major types were identified from the Paris basin Magdalenian bees: long axial pointed bees, bees with ogival extremities and bees off-center. First, at the Marsangy site and then, at the other Magdalenian sites in the Paris basin, their disposition was. studied. It was observed that bees have dissimilar spatial organisation from that of other tools. Localised preferentially in certain sites and in those sites around certain hearths, one can consider them as specialized tools adapted, most likely, to seasonal work.

On distingue trois types principaux parmi les becs du Magdalénien du Bassin Parisien : becs à longue pointe axiale, à extrémité ogivale, ou déjetés. On étudie leur répartition d'abord dans le site de Marsangy puis dans l'ensemble des habitats magdaléniens du Bassin Parisien. On observe que les becs ne présentent pas la même organisation spatiale que le reste de l'outillage. Localisés préférentiellement dans certains gisements autour de certains foyers, on peut les considérer comme des outils spécialisés adaptés à un travail sans doute saisonnier.
