Bei Sondierungsgrabungen auf der Parzelle „ Clos de l’abbaye“ in Corbie (Departement Somme) wurden Öfen entdeckt, die von einer Töpferwerkstatt im 14. Jh. zeugen. In dieser Werkstatt wurden Gefäße in dunklen und roten Tönen, in den verschiedenen zu dieser Zeit üblichen Formen hergestellt (Dreifußtöpfe, Krüge, Henkeltöpfe, Tiegel, Reibschüsseln und Glutstülpen).

An archaeological survey completed at Corbie (Somme) on a plot of land known as “ Le Clos de l’Abbaye” (“ The Abbey enclosure”) enabled the discovery of kilns showing that potters were working there during the 14th century. This workshop produced dark coloured and red ware, with a variety of different shapes among the most common at that time (tripod cooking pots, pitchers, handled pots, frying pans, creamers and curfews.

Des sondages archéologiques menés dans la parcelle nommée le " Clos de l’abbaye" à Corbie (Somme), ont permis la découverte de fours attestant d’une activité de potiers au XIVe siècle. Cet atelier a produit des récipients de tons sombres et rouges, de formes diversifiés les plus usuelles de l’époque (marmites tripodes, pichets, pots à anse, poêlons, tèles et couvre-feux).
