2002 warf die Entdeckung eines kleinen, stark erodierten, dem Mittelneolithikum zuweisbaren Bauwerks Fragen über die Glaubhaftigkeit einer solchen, in der Region einmaligen Entdeckung auf. Umso mehr als dieses Bauwerk sehr schlecht erhalten und selbst nach Abschluss der Grabung auf dem Boden kaum erkennbar war. Der Grundriss weist Ähnlichkeiten mit der Cerny-Kultur am Fluss Yonne auf, doch die wenigen Keramikscherben stützen eine Michelsberger Datierung. Eine AMS-Datierung hat sich aufgrund der schlechten Erhaltung als unmöglich erwiesen.

The discovery in 2003 of a small seriously eroded monument attributable to the Middle Neolithic period raised questions as to the credibility of such a discovery, the only one of its kind in the region ; all the more so as this monument appeared to be very dilapidated and the resolution of its image on the ground was never high, even after complete excavation. The few remaining shards found during the excavation support a Michelsberg dating, even though AMS dating has proved impossible because of the poor preservation of the bone.

En 2002, la découverte d’un petit monument très érodé attribuable au Néolithique moyen suscita des interrogations sur la crédibilité d’une telle découverte, inédite dans la vallée de l’Aisne. D’autant que la structure paraissait très détruite et que la définition de son image au sol ne fut jamais bien marquée, même une fois la fouille achevée. Cet article en présente les caractéristiques. Si le plan présente des similitudes avec des monuments Cerny de l’Yonne, les quelques tessons trouvés lors de la fouille révèlent une occupation au Michelsberg. Malheureusement les datations AMS ont échouées du fait de la mauvaise conservation de l’os.
