Strategic marginalization, decadent clientelism in international relations, withdrawal into the informal sector : so many factors in the growing isolation of Africa. However, the new ordinality, based on economic adjustment, leads to some restructurations that could revitalize African economies. It is possible to be Afro optimist.

Marginalisation stratégique, clientélisme décadent dans les relations internationales, repli sur l’informel : autant de facteurs d’accroissement de la solitude de l’Afrique. Mais la nouvelle ordinalité, fondée sur l’ajustement économique, conduit à des restructurations susceptibles de revitaliser les besoins de l’Afrique. Il n’est pas impossible d’être afro-optimiste.
