Three inscriptions from Aquae Sextiae (Aix-en-Provence) or from its territory are re-examined : 1. The inscription ILN — Aix-en-Provence, 209 (CIL, XII, 1130), a familial epitaph, has not hitherto been correctly interpreted. Its first three lines (the first of which has disappeared) should not be read horizontally, butas three columns. There is, therefore, no reason to correct Solier's older reading of the left part of the stone (which has also disappeared). 2. The two fragments ILN - Aix-en-Provence, 21 6 (CIL, XII, 521) and ibid., 24 (CIL, XII, 516) belong in fact to one and the same inscription. By joining these two fragments together we can propose a nearly complete restitution of this document. It is most likely an epitaph ; it contains the names of three members of the same family, all of whom were patrons of the colony of Aquae Sextiae : a young senator, his father, a knight, and another knight, probably his paternal uncle.

Réexamen de trois inscriptions d'Aix-en-Provence ou de son territoire : 1. l'inscription ILN — Aix-en- Provence, 209 (CIL, XII, 1130), une épitaphe familiale, a jusqu'à présent été mal interprétée : ses trois premières lignes (dont la première a disparu) ne doivent pas être lues horizontalement, mais selon une disposition en trois colonnes. Il n'y a dès lors plus de raison de corriger la lecture de la partie gauche (aujourd'hui disparue) qu'en a faite autrefois Solier. 2. Les deux inscriptions fragmentaires ILN - Aix-en-Provence, 216 (CIL, XII, 521) et ibid, 24 (CIL, XII, 516) appartiennent en fait à la même inscription. En réunissant ces deux fragments, on peut désormais proposer une restitution presque complète de ce document. Ce dernier, sans doute une épitaphe, contient les noms de trois membres d'une même famille qui ont tous trois été patrons de la colonie d'Aquae Sextiae ; un jeune sénateur, son père, un chevalier, et un autre chevalier, probablement son oncle paternel.
