This article proposes the publication of a graffito on 4th century ceramics, from Tongeren in Germania secunda, in the name of Victurus, primicerius of the Tungrecani Seniores, which helps to clarify the history of roman military ranks and that of this elite troop from late antiquity.

Cet article propose l’édition d’un graffito sur céramique du ive siècle, provenant de Tongres en Germania secunda, au nom de Victurus, primicier des Tungrecani Seniores, qui permet de préciser l’histoire des grades militaires romains et celle de cette troupe d’élite de l’Antiquité tardive.
