The comparative analysis of the text of Περί αντιδότων II by Galenus in vol. XIV of Kühn's edition, and in the Ms. Laurentianus LXXIV 5, leads to the assumption that the very conception of the book may have been modified whilst in the course of being written, and that this modification is at the origin of the confusion in the tradition. Furthermore, it would seem now that several of the medical recipes quoted by Galenus can be attributed to Andromachos the Younger.

La comparaison du texte du Περί αντιδότων de Galien, 1. II tel qu'on peut le lire dans le Ms. Laurentianus LXXIV 5 avec celui qu'imprime Kühn au tome XIV de son édition amène à penser que la conception même du livre a pu être modifiée en cours de rédaction, et qu'il a pu en découler une confusion dans la tradition. Cet examen permet en outre de confirmer l'attribution à Andromachos le Jeune d'un certain nombre de recettes citées par Galien.
