This article shows the domination of Thebes over Sicyon and the cities of the Peloponesian Asopos valley at the time of its Mycenaean peak. All of this throws a new light on the background of tyran Kleisthenes' religious reforms. Corinth, on the other hand, escaped this Theban domination.

Cet article montre la domination de Thèbes sur Sicyone et les cités de la vallée de l'Asôpos, lors de son apogée mycénienne. Cela apporte un éclairage nouveau sur les arrière-plans des réformes religieuses du tyran Kleisthénès. Corinthe, par contre, a échappé à cette domination.
