Résumé En Fr

The presence of the adamant man metaphor both occurring in the Anonymus Iamblichi and in Plato, in spite of the textual difficulties connected with the transmission of the Anonymus' text, seems to be meaningful, specially if replaced in the history of the words adamas, adamantinos. It appears that Plato, while repeating and altering the image, emphasizes a revolution in the ideas about justice and arete.
