Die Analyse einer Reihe von Erinnerungserzählungen über den kommunistischen Widerstand macht deutlich, inwiefern das Zusammenwirken von Zeitzeugenberichten, historischer Erzählung und historiographischer Darstellung zur Konstruktion eines kollektiven Gedächtnisses und einer historischen Identität beitragen kann. Als narrative Grundstruktur der untersuchten Texte lassen sich einige gemeinsame Leitmotive erkennen, die für die zeitgenössischen Leser als Orientierung und Identifikationsangebot fungierten. Hierzu zählen beispielsweise die gute Organisation und der internationale Charakter des kommunistischen Widerstands, die Bildung von Netzwerken und die wichtige Rolle auch der weiblichen Mitglieder der Widerstandsgruppen.

This article deals with the narratives of communist memory concerning the engagement in French resistance. In different kinds of texts published in France and in Eastern Germany during the Cold War period – autobiographical texts, a short novel and a French historical publication –, can be found the same leitmotivs, such as the international character of the communist resistance during the Second World War, the creation of networks and the importance of women in the resistant groups. These narratives might have been fundamental to the creation and construction of a collective memory and identity in communist communities during the afterwar-period.

Cet article porte sur des souvenirs, des récits et sur l’historiographie provenant des milieux communistes est-allemand et français, publiés au temps de la Guerre froide. L’analyse de ces ouvrages permet de déceler la construction d’une mémoire et d’une identité communiste à l’issue de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Les récits sont structurés par un certain nombre de Leitmotive et tendent à mettre en relief la bonne organisation de la lutte clandestine, l’appartenance à une communauté internationale solidaire, l’établissement de réseaux de résistants et l’égalité des hommes et des femmes au sein des groupes de résistants communistes. Bien que représentant les souvenirs d’une minorité seulement, ces textes se révèlent néanmoins être une force intégrative pour la construction d’une identité et d’une mémoire collectives de la communauté communiste d’après-guerre.
