Résumé
This is a progress report on a long-term study of resource partitioning between the 19 sympatric species of petrels breeding on the Crozet Archipelago, Southern Indian Ocean. Nine species are compared in the present paper : three storm petrels (Hydrobatidae), two diving petrels (Pelecanoididae), and four Pterodroma species. Resource partitioning apparently does take place between these species, even among those belonging to a same taxonomic group. The species more closely related taxonomically differ the most in the location of their foraging areas.
