Der Name als Bresche Gegen Ende des ersten Jahrzehnts unsres Jahrhunderts empfanden mehrere Autoren - unter ihnen Walter Benjamin und Franz Rosenzweig - das Bedürfnis, ein Namens-Gedenken zu erarbeiten, um von der menschlichen Erfahrung zu retten, was noch zu retten war. Um zu erraten, was von diesem Gedenken geblieben ist, untersuchen wir am Ausgang dieses schrecklichen Jahrhunderts zunächst die architektonische Form eines Mahnmals.

"The name as a window" At the end of the first decade of this century, several authors, among them Walter Benjamin and Franz Rosenzweig, felt it necessary to establish a philosophical reflection to save what could still be saved from human experience. To find out what is left of this reflection, now that this terrible century is coming to an end, we first explore the architectural form of a memorial.
