Trends in French research in educational sociology, (1975-1983). - The authors show that educational sociology has been lastly the field of debates, conceptual shifts, new definitions of problematics which prove that this discipline is looking back critically at itself. Shall we simply question ourselves or may we already answer that the new educational sociology will be a sociology based on modalities and process of socialization ?
