: Une comparaison dendroécologique de la croissance et de la réponse aux facteurs climatiques du pin à crochets et de l'épicéa a été réalisée en conditions stationnelles particulières, sur dalle de calcaire urgonien karstifié (lapiaz), entre 1 300 et 1 400 mètres dans le massif du Vercors (France). L'analyse des largeurs de cernes révèle une croissance plus rapide pour le pin à crochets, dont l'accroissement radial moyen atteint au maximum 2.0 mm/an, contre 1.2 mm/an seulement pour l'épicéa. La sensibilité au climat est élevée dans les deux cas, avec cependant une plus forte inertie de réponse pour l'épicéa. Le pin profite nettement des précipitations de Juillet durant l'année précédente (n-1), les deux essences étant affectées par de fortes températures en Juillet (n-1) et Mai (n) qui augmentent leur transpiration.
