The Inquisition in Toledo in the Face of the Protestism of the 16th Century. This study in devoted to one of the numerous aspects of the Spanish Inquisition. Based on a reading of the proceedings of trials of « Lutherans » during the Inquisition of Toledo, it attempts to analyse the attitude of this Court in the face of the Protestant phenomenon and the criteria by which it condemned or acquitted « heretics » accused of adhering to the Reform.

Cette étude est consacrée à l'une des nombreuses facettes de l'Inquisition espagnole. A partir de la lecture des procès dressés contre les « luthériens » par l'Inquisition de Tolède, elle tente d'analyser l'attitude de ce Tribunal devant le phénomène protestant et ses critères pour condamner ou acquitter un « hérétique » accusé d'adhérer à la Réforme.
