The positioning of the environmental law doctrine in Germany. The article analyses the positioning of the environmental law doctrine at and outside the universities in Germany under different perspectives. It particularly emphasizes the positioning of the doctrine regarding the stakeholders’ interests. From this angle, this paper develops a simplified typology to classify the pluralistic spectrum of modern doctrine. However, it also emphasizes the harmonising effects caused by the “greening” of politics, the civil society and the economy in Germany. Moreover, the article analyses the positioning of the doctrine of environmental law in relation to the legislative reforms and also the opening up to the European Union’s environmental law.

L’article analyse le positionnement de la doctrine universitaire et extra-universitaire en droit de l’environnement allemand sous des perspectives différentes. L’accent est mis sur le positionnement de la doctrine par rapport aux intérêts des parties intéressées (stakeholders). Sous cet angle, l’article développe une typologie simplifiée pour classifier le spectre pluraliste de la doctrine moderne. Cependant, il souligne aussi les effets d’harmonisation causés par le « verdissement » de la politique, la société civile et l’économie en Allemagne. En outre, l’article analyse le positionnement de la doctrine environnementaliste par rapport aux réformes législatives et l’ouverture au droit de l’environnement de l’Union européenne.
