Résumé
An important ceramist from the Art Deco style, Henri Simmen elaborates in the early 1900s decoration projects among them many friezes published in various specialized books. Starting 1908, his participation to the «l’Art à l’École » group allows us to comprehend the beginning of his career which isn’t well-documented.
