Die Schiefer vorn Tazekka-Massiv (Marokko) die bis jetzt als Unter-Karbon galten, haben Acritarchen und Chitinozoen des unteren Ordoviz (Arenig-Llanvirn) geliefert (Rauscher et al., 1982). Die wichtigsten dieser Mikrofossilien werden hier beschrieben und abgebildet.

Acritarchs and Chitinozoans of Lower Ordovician age (Arenigian-Llanvirnian) were found in the schists of the Tazekka (Morocco), previously dated on the Lower Carboniferous (Rauscher et al., 1982). These microfossils are described and illustrated here.
