CLAUDE LAFABREGUE For 15 years, climbing has been going through a significant evolution that has led to its organization today as a competitive sport. Nevertheless, there's little change in the social constitution or origins of climbers, who still remain part of the upper and middle classes, and also comme from well-educated strata.
