Résumé En

The authors first consider the différent positions with respect to the question : 1. a rationalistic or I and positivistic exclusion of religion from the processes of healing (an attitude which among psychiatrists, psychoana- lysts, and psychologists is not unanimous and has changea) ; 2. Christian distrust regarding clinical psychology, especially psychoanalysis ; 3. mingling of psychology and religion, in matters of diagnosis and therapy (C.G. Jung, Boisen, antipsychiatry , and especially today E. Drewermann who calls himself a psychoanalyst and Christian theologian, but who is actually Jungian). The author then states and justifies his basic principles for evaluating théories and practices : the difference between Christian belief and healing religions, the distinction and corrélation of psychic causality and personal unity, the définition of mental illness and the dynamic conception of mental health (e.g. in religion). The third part applies thèse principles to différent questions : the divine Spirit in psychic healing, religion and mental health, death anxiety.
