Résumé
How does Caesar describe his military difficulties and failures in the beginning of the Civil war ? This article proposes to study how the warlord envisaged these disappointments and how he integrated them into his account of the beginning of the year 49. Caesar rewrote these events and inserted them in a political and historical demonstration.
