Le musammaṭ arabe, en tant que forme unique de stance, s’est certainement étendu aux expressions littéraires persane, hébraïque et romane, alors qu’est à exclure la prétendue origine celtique de ce genre poétique, selon l’A. Il expose la scansion correcte d’un couple de vers de Rūdakī (gul-ī bahār-ī / but-ī tatār-ī / nabīḏ dārī / čirā na-yārī ? // nabīḏ-i rawšan / ču abr-i bahman / ba-nazd-i gulšan / čirā na-bārī ?), faisant ainsi ressortir ce poème comme une émulation (mu‘āraḍa) d’un poème a...
