L’achèvement du barrage de Sivand, Fars, prévu en 2007, devait entraîner la mise en eau du Tang-i Bolaghi. Cette vallée longue de 17 km s’ouvre par une gorge à 2 km au sud du tombeau de Cyrus puis s’élargit en une vallée de 9 x 3 km.
