Résumé
The directors of the Iranian-Italian archaeological Expedition in Khuzistan, south-west Iran present the first results of a survey conducted in the plain of Izeh, one of the core sectors of the ancient Parthian vassal kingdom of Elymais. The Izeh plain is situated east of the fertile lowlands at the feet of the Bakhtiari mountains. From there many passes lead through the mountain range. The new survey adds new data to the archaeological exploration conducted by H.T. Wright in the same region....
