In this paper, Dr Marcato gives an overview of the society of Arsacid Assur based on the Aramaic documents available. In particular, he focuses on the life of the main sanctuary, that of Assor and Serū, trying to investigate the people who visited it and what kind of activities it hosted. The author, analysing the onomastics in the epigraphical texts available, attempts to individuate different familiar groups who frequently visited the temples on the occasion of the major festivities.
