Le temps long du hirak : le passé et ses présences

Sept mois après le début du surgissement populaire, si son issue politique est encore incertaine, son inscription dans le temps long de l’histoire est en revanche actée. Grandiose par son ampleur, sa durée, son enracinement national, son pacifisme et sa créativité, le hirak est en train de renouveler le rapport de toute une population à elle-même, à son passé et à son avenir. Bref, à son histoire et à sa conscience collective. Dans l’immédiateté de l’événement se vivent ainsi des multiples « manières d’être au temps ». Cet article souhaite en saisir les logiques et les effets. En d’autres termes, il propose d’investir le mouvement révolutionnaire comme un lieu – une brèche – d’où scruter les agissements, les agencements ainsi que les usages du passé. Ces présences hétérogènes et contemporaines sont dès lors analysées en termes de transpositions, commémorations, actualisations.

Seven months after the beginning of the Algerian popular uprising, even as its political solution remains uncertain, its inscription in the longue-durée of history has certainly been achieved. Astonishing in scale, duration, and national roots, in its pacifism and creativity, the hirak is renewing the relationship of a population with itself, its past, and its future. In other words, there is a refashioning of history and the emergence of a collective consciousness. In the short-term the event also embodies multiple ways of being in time. This article will analyze its logic and effects. In other words, it proposes to study the revolutionary movement as a place - a breach - to examine the actions, the arrangements, and the uses of the past. These heterogeneous and contemporary presences are analyzed in terms of transpositions, commemorations, and renewals.

حتى وإن كانت النتائج السياسية للهبة الشعبية غير مؤكدة بعد مرور سبعة أشهر من بدايته، فإنه قد تم تدوينه على المدار الطويل للتاريخ. نظرًا لأثره العظيم ومدته وجذوره الوطنية، وسلميته وإبداعه، فقد قام الحراك بتجديد الروابط بين المواطنين أنفسهم، وبين ماضيهم ومستقبلهم. باختصار، بين المواطن وتاريخه، ووعيه الجماعي. هناك "طرائق متعددة لمجاراة الزمن"، لحظة وقوع الحدث. يهدف هذا المقال إلى فهم المقاربة المنطقية وتداعياتها. بمعنى آخر، يقترح إدراك الحركة الثورية كمكان - أو كفتحة في جدار بغية التدقيق في الإجراءات والتعديلات واستخدامات الماضي. يتم تحليل هذا الوجود المتجانس والمعاصر من خلال التحولات واحياءات الذكرى والتحديثات.
