Under the name “A Grammatical Pandect” Jean-Paul Potet has published the most complete grammar of written Tagalog ever written. The author published it first in French under the title Grande Grammaire du tagal/philippin (2018, Lulu.com), but the name “pandect”, which was originally a fifty-volume digest of Roman civil law created under the emperor Justinian in the 6th century and means a book that contains everything, an encyclopedia, does in fact correspond better to it.
