Cet article constitue la présentation des recherches effectuées par une équipe franco-grecque sur le tell de Kirrha en Phocide entre 2008 et 2015, et représente la publication préliminaire des structures archéologiques mises au jour. Deux secteurs distants l’un de l’autre ont été fouillés, révélant une dense occupation de l’Helladique Moyen, ainsi que des niveaux s’étageant jusqu’à l’Helladique Récent III. Notamment, une nécropole de la période transitionnelle (Helladique Moyen III – Helladique Récent I/II) a été fouillée dans la partie occidentale du site, tandis que des niveaux mycéniens ont été reconnus à proximité du sommet.

Κίρρα 2008-2015: ένας ενδιάμεσος απολογισμός, 1, Η ανασκαφή και οι αρχαιολογικές κατασκευές.Το άρθρο αυτό αποτελεί την παρουσίαση των ερευνών που πραγματοποιήθηκαν από μια γαλλοελληνική ομάδα στην τούμπα της Κίρρας στη Φωκίδα από το 2008 έως το 2015. Είναι ταυτόχρονα και η προκαταρκτική παρουσίαση των αρχαιολογικών κατασκευών που ήρθαν στο φως. Ανασκάφηκαν δύο απομακρυσμένοι μεταξύ τους τομείς, αποκαλύπτοντας μια πυκνή κατοίκηση της Μεσοελλαδικής εποχής, καθώς και ορίζοντες που φθάνουν ως την Υστεροελλαδική ΙΙΙ. Ειδικότερα, μια νεκρόπολη που χρονολογείται στη μεταβατική περίοδο (Μεσοελλαδική ΙΙΙ – Υστεροελλαδική Ι/ΙΙ) ανασκάφηκε στο δυτικό τμήμα του χώρου, ενώ μυκηναϊκά επίπεδα βρέθηκαν κοντά στην κορυφή.

Kirrha 2008-2015: a progress report. 1. The excavation and archaeological structures.This article presents the studies undertaken by the Greek-French team at the mound (toumba) of Kirrha in Phocis from 2008 to 2015. At the same time it offers a preliminary report of the archaeological structures unearthed at the site. Two trenches some distance apart were explored, revealing a dense habitation of the Middle Helladic period, as well as horizons that reach as late as Late Helladic III. In particular, a cemetery dating to the transitional period (Middle Helladic III – Late Helladic I/II) was excavated in the western section of the site, while Mycenaean levels were found near the peak.
