Le mausolée de Muḥammad Šarīf Ḫān est l’un des rares exemples d’une sépulture familiale à Ghazni (Afghanistan). Six tombeaux en marbre sont abrités à l’intérieur de l’édifice ; ils datent du xe/xvie siècle-début xie/xviie siècle et portent des épitaphes en langue arabe qui relèvent du même répertoire épigraphique. Cet article se propose de rassembler et de comparer pour la première fois les épitaphes présentes sur ces tombeaux dans le but de préciser la datation et le patronage du monument. Dans l’effort de retracer les liens parentaux entre les défunts, la lecture croisée des inscriptions funéraires et des sources historiques permet, enfin, d’identifier l’éponyme du mausolée, un notable de ville qui comptait parmi l’élite dirigeante de l’Empire moghol.
