Organizer of the postal services? Mondon-Vidailhet embarked in Marseilles on October 12th 1894 and reached Djibouti on 23rd. After staying there a few weeks he went to Harar on January 9th 1895. There and in unclear circumstances he took part at the end of the month in the establishment of the first post office.
