L’auteur présente la stratigraphie du Néolithique ancien de la grotte de la Dehesilla (Cadiz, Espagne), caractérisée par un horizon à poteries rouges lustrées dans une ambiance à poteries imprimées et à reliefs, dont la chronologie, d’après le 14C, commence au VIe millénaire a. C. Malgré la richesse matérielle, on constate une diète alimentaire basée sur la chasse. Les enterrements trouvés indiquent un rite complexe avec la position accroupie du cadavre, la présence d’ocre et de restes de feu. Il s’agit d’un Néolithique différent du cardial et vraisemblablement contemporain, étant donné la présence de poteries cardialoïdes dès les premières manifestations.
