L’articolo esamina le iscrizioni trovate nello scavo studiato nei contributi precedenti; si tratta di iscrizioni funerarie di personaggi appartenenti al ceto libertino, databili tra la prima età imperiale e il III secolo d.C., in maggioranza frammentarie, alcune intere, tra cui due urne cinerarie rinvenute intatte. Lo studio integra le nostre conoscenze sulla popolazione ostiense, aggiungendo elementi nuovi all’ampio repertorio onomastico della colonia (come per i poco noti Pinnii).

This paper examines the inscriptions which were discovered during the excavations studied in the previous articles ; the texts are funerary inscriptions for people belonging to the group of freedmen and they can be dated between the beginning of the Empire and the 3rd century AD. Most of them are fragmentary, some are complete – among them two carved on cinerary urns. This study completes our knowledge about Ostian people, adding new elements to the rich repertory of names in the colony (such as the rare Pinnii).
