The preceding chapter presented the first part of my findings, which highlighted specific instances of discrimination experienced by both refugees and migrants in Berlin as well as the forces which play a role in sustaining and amplifying discrimination. This chapter shifts its analytical lens to the topic of integration and provides snapshots of the refugees’ and migrants’ social life in Berlin.
