Introduction Acacia Operation is a regional project implemented in six Sahelian countries. In Sudan the project started in 2004 in two gum producing States namely (North Kordofan and Sinnar,). The project was funded by the Italian Government, implemented by Forests National Corporation with FAO as an executing agent.
