I will know present the works on plants developed during the period under review, the primary botanist voyagers, and the establishment of the most remarkable gardens. The best flora published in the beginning of the eighteenth century was that of Jacques Barrelier, a Dominican monk, born in Paris in 1606 and died in 1673.
